Founded under an agreement between the European Union and the Chinese government in 1994, CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) calls itself mainland China’s leading business school.
The school’s main campus is in Shanghai, but it has satellite campuses in Shenzhen and Beijing and added another in Zurich in 2015. CEIBS follows the case-study method, pulling cases from schools like Harvard but also using Chinese cases written by the school’s faculty.
CEIBS has three dual-degree programs with American universities, one focusing on diplomacy with Tufts’ Fletcher, another on public health with Johns Hopkins and a third with Cornell geared towards the hospitality industry.
