Columbia Business School celebrated its centennial in 2015. Finance and Economics is the largest division of CBS, offering nearly half the courses at the school. The school's dean Glenn Hubbard is the former chair of the Council of Economic Advisers under George W. Bush. Its star professor is Joseph Stiglitz, winner of the 2001 Nobel Prize in economics. Nearly half the entering class comes from the financial services and consulting industries.
