Sloan students choose to specialize in one of three fields: entrepreneurship and innovation, finance or enterprise management. The university hosts three entrepreneurship competitions, the Pitch, Accelerate and Launch Contests, that dole out over $350,000 in prize money each year. The school’s E-Lab is a course that puts students on projects with local tech startups for 1 or 2 days a week. Other classes include the Global Entrepreneurship Lab, which pairs students with entrepreneurs in developing countries, and the Leadership Lab, which encourages students to create socially responsible innovations.
